Randhawa emphasized the social and political equations of Punjab, stating that Channi represents the leader of the Scheduled Castes (SC), himself represents the Jat Sikhs and Bharat Bhushan Ashu is the face of the urban Hindu/Brahmin society. According to Randhawa, this trio will prove to be the main strength of the Congress for the 2027 elections. Besides, he announced that he would soon present directly to the Punjab government officials and the Chief Minister regarding the problems of paddy storage and rice millers’ backlog.
