Chaitra month:

Chaitra is the first month of Marathi month. This month is called Chaitra month because Navachaitanya, new month, spring moon and most importantly full moon moon is near Chitra Nakshatra. Gudi Padwa falls in this month and the Hindu New Year begins from this day. Apart from this, Chaitra Navratri also starts from this day. Festivals like Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanti fall in this month only

Month of Baisakh:

This month is called Vaishakh because the full moon moon is near Visakha Nakshatra. This is considered the period of maturity in nature. Also, preparation for summer season and crops starts in this month. Agriculture and change of nature also starts in this month.

Senior Month:

Ashad:
