Punjab News: Punjab Legislative Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan today made a strong appeal to the farming community to adopt organic farming. He stressed that it is very important to preserve the fertility of soil for the prosperous life and well-being of the coming generations.

Citing the urgent need for sustainability of farming, Speaker Sandhwan said that future generations need healthy, fertile land. He appealed to the farmers that to protect the environment, there is a need to completely abandon the use of chemical fertilizers and poisonous pesticides.
Dangerous diseases are increasing among common people
The speaker expressed deep concern over the commercialization of agriculture, saying that the blind race for financial gain has led to a significant increase in the use of chemicals and pesticides. This practice has created a serious health crisis, increasing dangerous diseases like cancer among the common people.
Changes protect the health of citizens
Urging farmers to immediately switch to organic farming, Sandhwan said this positive change is extremely necessary to protect the health of citizens, prevent the spread of deadly diseases and ensure a safe, disease-free future for the next generation.
