According to experts, carbohydrates are found in many parties. Due to this, people may face the problem of gas formation in the stomach. But, moong dal and masoor dal are easily digested. Because, high amounts of iron, zinc, phosphorus, fiber and protein are found in it. Therefore, moong dal is considered to be the fastest digesting dal.

Which pulses should you reduce your intake of?

In case of stomach problems, consumption of kidney beans, chickpeas and black gram should be avoided. Avoid eating them as much as possible or consume them in limited quantities. However, experts say that if you have to eat these things then soak them and drain the water, then cook them in a pressure cooker with asafoetida and ginger. By eating like this, the problem of flatulence can be reduced by up to 70 percent.

Which pulses can be eaten with?

Moong has a cold nature and lentils have a hot nature. In such a situation, if you eat these two together, you can get more benefits from it. At the same time, you can eat moong and lentils any time in the morning, day or night. But keep in mind that one should avoid eating moong and lentils more than once a day.

  • Moong dal (green or yellow): Easiest to digest, produces least gas.
  • Masoor dal (red lentils): It is light and easily digestible.
  • Pigeon pea/Toor dal: It is better to eat it in small quantity only.
  • Chana dal: It is fine if soaked for 8-10 hours and cooked in a pressure cooker.
  • Moth (Matki): When germinated, it is very beneficial for the stomach.
