What the experts say

According to Pranav Mer, Senior Vice President of EBG Commodity and Currency Research at JM Financial Services, the shine of gold and silver could increase in the short term. Mer believes that the price of 10 grams of gold could reach ₹1.57 lakh and one kilogram of silver could hit ₹2.80 lakh. Jatin Trivedi, Vice President and Commodity & Currency Research Analyst at LKP Securities, states that the recent rally in gold prices has been supported by weak US labor market data, a softening dollar, and expectations of a more dovish policy stance from the Federal Reserve.
