New Delhi. Sales of small cars in the Indian car market are improving. Maruti Suzuki appears to be primarily benefiting from this. In July, Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 2.41 million vehicles. This includes data from both the domestic market and exports.

Speaking of small cars, the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is among the top 15 best-selling cars.

12,534 units of this car were sold in July. Compared to July last year, Alto sales increased by approximately 112%. In July 2025, Maruti sold 5,910 units of this car. In July this year, sales of this car reached 12,534. This is Maruti Suzuki’s second-cheapest car. Only the S-Presso is priced lower, but its sales are much lower than the Alto K10.

What is its price?

The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is available in both petrol and CNG variants. Prices start at ₹3.69 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-spec variant costs ₹5.44 lakh (ex-showroom). This price is for the petrol variant. For the CNG model, prices start at ₹4.81 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to ₹5.31 lakh (ex-showroom).

The car is available in multiple color options. The exterior features a honeycomb-style grille, 13-inch wheels, and rear parking sensors. The car features steering-mounted audio and voice controls. It features a speedometer with a digital display. The car also comes with SmartPlay Studio, which offers smartphone navigation. It comes with manual and auto gearshift technology.

Engine, Power, and Mileage

The Alto K10 is powered by a 998cc engine that produces 68 bhp. The petrol version of the car has a mileage of 24.90 kilometers per liter. The CNG variant produces 56 bhp and has a fuel efficiency of 33.85 kilometers per kilogram.

This car also comes with six airbags as standard. This means you get the safety of six airbags from the base variant. It also comes with reverse parking sensors. The car is built on the HEARTECT platform and comes with electronic stability program as standard.
