
Mumbai: After a long wait, the trailer for “Ramayana Part 1” has finally been released. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the first glimpse of this mega-budget film has sparked a huge buzz on social media. The trailer features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. The film’s grand visuals, stunning VFX, and presentation of the mythological story have captivated audiences. Notably, the trailer was released at 4:15 am on Thursday during the Brahma Muhurta (the auspicious time) in Hindu tradition.
A glimpse of the struggle between Ram and Ravana was shown.
The nearly four-minute-long trailer provides a glimpse of the major events of the Ramayana. It depicts Lord Rama’s life, his training, his decision to accompany Sita into exile, and his subsequent journey. Key events such as Surpanakha’s entry, Ravana’s impressive introduction, and Sita’s abduction are also presented in a cinematic manner. The trailer concludes with a glimpse of the epic battle between Rama and Ravana, further piqueing audience curiosity. Sharing the trailer, the makers wrote, “This is where the epic begins.”
The star cast enhanced the grandeur of the film
In addition to Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, the film also features several prominent actors in pivotal roles. Lara Dutta plays Kaikeyi, while Vivek Oberoi will be seen as Vidyutjihva. Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as Surpanakha, Shobhana as Kaikesi, Sheeba Chaddha as Manthara, and Saurabh Sachdeva as Maricha. The film is produced under the banner of Prime Focus Studios and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. Oscar-winning Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman have composed the music, raising audience expectations even higher.

A large number of viewers praised Ranbir Kapoor’s calm and impressive Ram, Yash’s powerful Raavan, and the film’s stunning visuals.
