Sunny Deol shared the pain of the partition of his family for the first time at the trailer launch of 'Partition 1947'. He said that humanity is the biggest religion and there is no place for hatred.
During the trailer launch of Aamir Khan Productions' most awaited film 'Partition 1947', actor Sunny Deol shared for the first time the pain of partition related to his family. He told that his grandparents (late Dharmendra's parents Kewal Krishna Deol and Satwant Kaur) also came to India from present-day Pakistan during the India-Pakistan partition and he had heard many emotional stories from them in his childhood. Sunny said that the situation at that time was very frightening, but in many villages people also came forward to save each other's lives. He also said that if a person accepts humanity as the biggest religion, then many problems of the world will automatically end.

At the trailer launch, Sunny Deol said smilingly, "As you all know, I am less educated. I only know what I have heard. We are from Punjab and at the time of partition, my grandparents were in today's Pakistan. I heard many such stories from them, which were very emotional. They told me that if there was a possibility of any untoward incident happening in a village, then the rest of the villagers would get together and hide the people and protect them from the rioters. Used to protect. At that time the atmosphere was such that no untoward incident should happen, this is what everyone wanted."
Sunny Deol further said, "There are many incidents on which I do not want to talk in detail. I have had the opportunity to spend time in Punjab since childhood, so I have a deep connection with the soil, people and stories there."
Sunny Deol told why the society is getting divided in the name of politics?
When a journalist asked why the society gets divided in the name of position and politics even after so many years of independence, Sunny Deol replied, "The reason is humans only, who else? The day humans understand, all this will end. I do not consider any post or chair as the biggest. Be it a minister or a policeman, after all he is a human being. If every person understands that there is no religion bigger than humanity, then no problem will be left." On this answer of Sunny, the people present at the program clapped and supported him.
