Weather Update 26 July 2026: According to IMD report, know what is the latest alert of rain, thunderstorm and heavy rain in Delhi-NCR, UP, MP, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh on 26 July?

Weather Today: The weather of 26 July 2026 is indicating relief as well as caution for many states of North and Central India. Clouds will remain in most parts of Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana and Rajasthan. There will be light to moderate rain in some places, while in many areas there is a possibility of heavy rain and storm with thunderstorms. The weather is going to be more active especially in some parts of Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. There are indications that rain will continue in many states for the next three to four days.

Delhi-NCR: Light rain will provide relief from heat

The maximum temperature in Delhi-NCR on July 26 is expected to be around 34 degrees and minimum 26 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain cloudy throughout the day and light rain or drizzle may be seen. Similar weather conditions will prevail for the next two days, while there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms on July 28 and 29.

Uttar Pradesh: Rain in many cities, more impact in eastern parts

Cloud movement will continue in Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Meerut, Banda, Ayodhya and other cities in Uttar Pradesh. On July 26, light rain or thundershowers may occur in most areas. The extent of rainfall is likely to increase in many districts of eastern and western UP between July 27 and 30. There are also indications of heavy rain in Ballia, Bareilly and some other districts in the next days.

Madhya Pradesh: Rain continues with thunder and lightning

Most parts of Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Chitrakoot and Pachmarhi will remain partly cloudy on July 26. There is a possibility of rain, thunder and strong winds at many places. The same weather pattern will continue for the next four-five days and people will get respite from rains intermittently.

Chhattisgarh: Thunderstorm alert in Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg

There is a possibility of one or two rounds of rain and thunder and lightning in Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg and surrounding districts on July 26. The temperature will be between 30 to 31 degrees Celsius. Moderate rain and cloudy weather is expected in Jashpur also. Rain activities are likely to continue in the state till July 30.

Gujarat: Danger of heavy rain and strong winds in many districts

In Gujarat, rains with thunder and lightning will continue in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Valsad, Rajkot and Jamnagar on July 26. There is an alert of heavy rain in some districts, while at many places strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The intensity of rain is likely to reduce somewhat after July 28, but light rain will continue.

Maharashtra: Moderate rain in Mumbai, clouds in Vidarbha

There is a possibility of moderate rain in all major areas of Mumbai on July 26. The impact of heavy rain will be less as compared to July 25, but clouds and rain will continue. There will be light rain in Pune, Nashik and Kolhapur, while Nagpur will remain cloudy with possibility of light rain in the next days. Moderate rain is also expected in Ratnagiri.

Rajasthan and Haryana: There will be relief from heat with rain

There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Rajasthan's Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur and Jodhpur on July 26. Jaisalmer will also remain cloudy and it may rain at some places. After July 28, the weather will start clearing in many areas.

It will also be cloudy in Ambala, Karnal, Chandigarh, Gurugram, Hisar, Rohtak and Bhiwani of Haryana. Light rain and thunder may be seen at many places. The impact of light to moderate rain may further increase in some districts around July 28.
