Bhubaneswar: As the Commonwealth Games 2026 kicks off at Glasgow on July 23, gymnast lovers will look forward to the performance of the Indian team.
Three of the eight members in the Artistic Gymnastics category are from Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre.
They are Olympian Pranati Nayak in the women’s team, and the male duo of Tapan Mohanty and Tapeswaranath Das.
“Having three athletes from our Odisha AM/NS GHPC competing at the Commonwealth Games is a proud milestone for us. Tapan Mohanty, Tapeswaranath Das, and Olympian Pranati Nayak exemplify the excellence, discipline, and resilience nurtured at our Centre. Their achievement reflects the world‑class training and holistic development ecosystem we have built in Odisha,” said Ashutosh Telang, Director & Vice President (HR & Administration), AM/NS India.
Artistic Gymnastics will be held at the Emirates Arena from July 24 to 28. A total of 14 events will be held in Team, All-Around and Individual Apparatus disciplines.
