New Delhi. Congress on Tuesday intensified its protest from Parliament to the streets regarding the NEET Paper Leak Protest issue. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi And senior party leaders including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra sat on strike while marching towards 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, the official residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the demonstration, Congress leaders wore symbolic handcuffs and raised slogans against the Central Government and demanded the resignation of the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister.

Protest march reached PM residence (NEET Paper Leak Protest)

Congress leaders first gathered at Rajaji Marg, then marched towards the Prime Minister’s residence as part of the strategy. The party alleges that the central government is avoiding accountability in the NEET Paper Leak Protest case and is also shying away from discussing the issue in Parliament.

Rahul Gandhi said- This time we will have to answer

Rahul Gandhi said that the attack on students is an attack on every Indian family. He alleged that the government is not ready to take responsibility for this matter (NEET Paper Leak Protest). Rahul said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi thinks that he will get away without answering, but this time it will not happen. He also appealed to the people to register their protest outside the Prime Minister’s residence.

Kharge targeted the government

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that Congress stands with the rights of students and their legitimate demands. He alleged that the government used force on the students’ movement and would have to respond to it. Kharge said that the confidence of the youth is breaking due to the continuous irregularities in the examination system.

Congress is giving it the form of a political campaign

Congress no longer wants to limit NEET Paper Leak Protest to only the examination scam. The party is working on a strategy to make it a national level political issue by linking it to the future of the youth and the accountability of the central government. The party says that the future of lakhs of students is being affected due to continuous irregularities in the examination system.

Other opposition parties gathered at Jantar Mantar

While Congress demonstrated outside the Prime Minister’s residence, leaders of many opposition parties joined the ongoing student movement at Jantar Mantar. NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal and Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav also supported the students’ movement. Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray is also likely to join the movement.

Political pressure increased on the government

Congress It is alleged that the Central Government is avoiding responding to the irregularities in the examination system, while the Government says that the investigation into the matter is going on and action is being taken against the culprits. There are signs of further intensification of political conflict inside and outside the Parliament regarding NEET Paper Leak Protest in the coming days.
