Earlier, Prime Minister Modi congratulated Sindhu for her groundbreaking achievement as the first Indian to win the Japan Open title, calling it a historic moment for Indian badminton. Sindhu's victory at the Japan Open marked her first Super 750 title and ended a title drought of over two years.
