Central Minister Responds to NEET Paper Leak Controversy in Srinagar

During an event held in Srinagar on Saturday, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale addressed the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) paper leak issue. He firmly stated that there is no need for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to resign over this matter. Athawale asserted that the government has already taken effective measures against those involved in the scandal.


Government's Actions and Arrests

In a conversation with reporters, Athawale acknowledged that the NEET paper leak incident is not a positive development for the country. However, he emphasized that the administration is actively addressing the situation and taking necessary actions. He revealed that several suspects have been arrested in connection with the paper leak, with a significant number of arrests occurring in Maharashtra.


Commitment to Prevent Future Leaks

The Union Minister assured that the government will implement stringent measures to prevent any recurrence of incidents like the paper leak in the future. During the same event, he also mentioned climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, urging him to end his hunger strike.
