Actor Kanika Mann has extended her support to Arjun Bijlani after he strongly refuted rumours linking him romantically with longtime friend Mouni Roy . Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kanika emphasized that genuine friendships still exist in the entertainment industry and urged people not to give every interaction a romantic angle.

Sharing a note on Instagram Stories, Kanika wrote, “In an industry where every interaction is scrutinized, it’s important to remember that genuine friendships exist too. Not everything needs a romantic angle for clicks. More responsibility, less speculation.”

She also praised Arjun’s nature, adding, “I’ve always known Arjun to be someone who genuinely shows up for the people he cares about. He’s one of the most dependable and warm-hearted friends. Not every act of kindness deserves to be turned into a headline.”

Her statement came shortly after Arjun Bijlani publicly called out entertainment portals and paparazzi pages for spreading “completely baseless” reports claiming he was dating Mouni Roy after the two were recently spotted together.

In his statement, Arjun clarified that he and Mouni have shared a close friendship for over 18 years and said that standing by a friend during a difficult phase should not be sensationalised. He also expressed disappointment over how genuine friendships are often twisted into romantic stories for online engagement.

“Two friends meeting after 18 years of friendship doesn’t suddenly become a ‘dating story.’ Sometimes, people simply show up for each other, especially when a friend is going through a difficult time. Not every friendship needs a romantic angle for views. A little fact-checking before publishing would go a long way,” Arjun had said.
