sticker removal method
When we buy new steel utensils, glass jars or plastic containers, the stubborn stickers and glue marks on them spoil their beauty. While trying to remove these stickers, utensils often get scratched.
This problem can be solved with coconut oil present in the kitchen instead of expensive chemical cleaners. Let us know how to remove stickers from new utensils and boxes.
Steps to remove stickers
– First of all, apply a small amount of coconut oil on the sticker on the new box or vessel with the help of cotton. Make sure the entire area of the sticker is thoroughly moistened with oil.
– After applying coconut oil, leave the vessel like this for 20 to 25 minutes. This oil will loosen and soften the hardened glue beneath the sticker, making it easier to remove.
– Next, hold one corner of the sticker and slowly pull it upward with the help of your fingernail or a plastic scraper.
– If a little sticky glue remains on the utensil even after removing the sticker, then add one or two more drops of coconut oil at that place. Then clean it by rubbing it with a dry cloth or tissue paper.
– Finally, wash the utensil or container with normal dishwashing liquid or soap and lukewarm water to remove any oil.
important tips
Keep in mind that do not use any kind of steel or iron tool to remove the sticker or its glue. Doing so may scratch new utensils, especially glass and plastic containers.
