At the age when people hope to live a peaceful life with their families, a case has come to light from Una district of Himachal Pradesh which has heated up discussions in the entire area.
A woman suddenly disappeared from home and the things that came to light in the initial investigation shocked the family as well as the police. The family claims that the elderly woman has eloped with someone.
Son's allegation- Mother eloped with Punjabi
A 60-year-old woman suddenly went missing from her house in Amb sub-division. The woman's son has alleged that a married man from Punjab has seduced his mother and taken him away. After receiving the complaint, the police have registered the case and started investigation and are continuously raiding the possible locations.
There was already a person coming and going in the village
In the complaint given to the police, the woman's son told that the said person, a resident of Punjab, had already been visiting their village. During this time the closeness between the two increased. It is suspected that both of them left the house on Monday night after planning in advance.
Woman's 40 year old son and daughter
The woman is survived by her 40-year-old son and a daughter. Both the children are married. When the woman was not found at home on Tuesday morning, the family members searched for her near relatives and nearby areas, but no clue was found. After this a complaint was lodged in Police Station Amb.
Police reached Punjab, accused also missing from home
After receiving the complaint, the police team reached the house of the accused in Punjab. There it was found that the person was also missing from his house since that very night. According to preliminary information, he has also taken some jewelery with him from home. This has further strengthened the suspicion of the police that both of them are together.
The woman's friend was also interrogated
During the investigation, it has also come to light that a friend of the woman was already aware of the closeness going on between the two. The police also interrogated him on Wednesday and every aspect related to the case is being investigated.
What did the police say?
DSP Amb Anil Patial said that a missing complaint of the woman has been registered. Police teams are continuously searching at possible places and efforts are being made to locate the woman soon.
