Talking about her career, Anjali said that she never thought that things would turn out this way. "I never thought I would have this kind of career. It still feels surreal, like I'm living someone else's life. I've always believed in moving forward and not paying attention to things, so I haven't really learned to celebrate my successes, I just keep moving forward," she told ANI.
Dreams and challenges of the industry
The actress told that performing in songs has always been a dream and everything happened naturally during the making of the film. She said, "I have been dreaming for a long time to have my own song and get a chance to showcase my dance. I have been preparing for this for years. I see myself becoming a big star one day; this has been my dream since childhood."
Talking about the challenges she faces as a newcomer in the industry, Anjali admitted that it takes time to gain acceptance. "When people see a new face, they often find it difficult to accept. I understand their initial apprehension about a new actress, but that's okay. Once I prove myself, as I am doing, I am sure more people will also agree. I will keep proving myself," she said.
Work experience with Riteish Deshmukh
Anjali also spoke warmly about working with her co-star Riteish Deshmukh, and credited their on-screen chemistry to their off-screen bond. "I had a wonderful time with Riteish. We were just having fun, and that bubbliness turned into great chemistry on screen. He never made me feel like a junior and always gave me space to share my ideas and improvisations," he said.
Recalling one of her favorite moments from shooting, Anjali revealed that both she and Riteish accidentally injured each other while filming an action scene. "We both just said, 'I'm fine,' and limped home. He texted me later that day asking how my knee was, and I did the same. He's that kind of guy," he said.
