The transfer chatter continues to intensify as Wednesday brings a fresh round of speculation and developments in the football world.
Arsenal are maintaining their interest in securing Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis. Though the Gunners have yet to open direct negotiations with the Belgian club, they have been assessing the potential cost of a transfer.
According to Sky Sports, the deal could be valued at approximately £34 million as Arsenal look for a replacement for Leandro Trossard. Tzolis is among several names on the Premier League champions’ summer shortlist, with Morgan Rogers and Julian Alvarez also being considered as possible additions.
Manchester United have not abandoned their pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, even after the Frenchman signed a new long-term contract. Journalist Andy Mitten, who closely follows United, reports that the Spanish giants have not completely ruled out a sale this summer, despite extending Tchouameni’s deal until 2031.
Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal are preparing to compete with Premier League sides in the race to sign Crysencio Summerville. The Riyadh-based team have contacted Summerville’s representatives to gauge his interest in a move to the Middle East, with a lucrative offer reportedly on the table. Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham and Roma are also tracking the Dutch winger following West Ham’s relegation.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are believed to have initiated talks with Real Madrid regarding a move for Alvaro Carreras. After selling left-back Marc Cucurella to the Spanish outfit, Chelsea are seeking to bring in Carreras at a lower price. However, Sport reports that there remains a €25 million difference in the clubs’ valuations.
Sport also provides an update on Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian striker has received an offer from Besiktas but is holding off on a decision to see whether Barcelona make an approach. Vlahovic is currently a free agent following his departure from Juventus, and Besiktas have reportedly given him a 24-hour deadline to confirm his interest in joining the Turkish side.
Finally, Yves Bissouma has been spotted training with Fulham after being released by Tottenham Hotspur. The Mali international midfielder is searching for a new club and is currently working to impress at Craven Cottage in hopes of securing a contract.
