Bollywood actor Sohail Khan has shared an anecdote related to his personal life, which has caught the attention of fans. Sohail, who was seen with ex-wife Seema Sajdeh in the reality show 'Alliance', told that he wanted to name his elder son 'Ram Khan'. However, after the birth of her son, Seema Sajdeh liked the name spoken by her in the hospital so much that she changed her decision. During this conversation, Sohail also spoke openly about the respectable relationship he maintains with his family, son Nirvana and Seema even today.

After all, why did Sohail Khan want to name his son 'Ram Khan'?

During the show, Aly Goni praised both the sons of Sohail Khan and said that Nirvana is exactly like his father. On this, Sohail narrated an interesting story related to his son's name. He said, "When Seema was pregnant with Nirvana, we had jokingly decided that if I had a son, I would name him and if I had a daughter, I would name him Seema. I wanted to name my son 'Ram Khan'. We are very secular in this matter."

Then how did the name 'Nirvana' come instead of 'Ram Khan'?

Sohail further told that everything changed after the birth of his son. He said, "When Seema regained consciousness after delivery, she also had a name in mind. The doctor told that it was a son. When I went into the room, Seema saw me. She was a little sleepy and said, 'How is Nirvana?' After the way he took this name, I didn't feel like changing it." Sohail also told that like his name, Nirvana's nature is also very calm.

How is the relationship between Sohail and Seema today?

Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh got married in 1998 against the wishes of the family. Both have two sons – Nirvana and Yohan. The couple officially divorced in 2022 after being together for nearly two decades. However, both of them are still raising their children together. In 'Alliance', Sohail told that even today he has a lot of respect for Seema. He said, "Today I have more respect for Seema than love." Sohail also told that both the sons live with him, while Seema comes to his house three days a week to meet him.

What did Sohail say on Nirvana's acting career?

In an interview given in the year 2024, Sohail Khan had said on his son Nirvana's desire to become an actor, "If you want to become an actor, then I don't know why people become assistant directors first. Seasoned artists should give new artists a chance to live and learn with them. I want Nirvana to live with artists like Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Shahid Kapoor and Nana Patekar, watch them and learn by reading dialogues with them."
