Axar Patel ICC ODI All-Rounder Rankings: The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest rankings on Wednesday (July 15), in which Indian all-rounder Axar Patel made a big jump. Axar's brilliant performance with both bat and ball in the first ODI against England last Tuesday, for which he was named 'Player of the Match'. With this, Axar became the only Indian to make it to the top-10 of the ODI all-rounder rankings.

In the ODI against England, Axar bowled first, taking the most wickets, taking four. He conceded 62 runs in 9.5 overs. Coming in at number seven, Axar then scored an unbeaten 57 off 52 balls, hitting five fours and one six. This innings came after Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma had been dismissed. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill, who had been batting well, retired hurt. He then played a match-winning innings for the team.

Big Chhagal in the rankings, the only Indian in the top-10

In the ODI all-round rankings, Axar Patel has jumped three places to 9th. His rating is 213. Patel is the only Indian ranked in the top 10. Afghanistan's Azmatullah Omarzai holds the top spot with a rating of 316. Bangladesh's Mehdi Hasan Miraz is second with a rating of 260. The top 10 also includes players from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Scotland, and India.

International career of Axar Patel

Axar plays all three formats for India. He has played 15 Tests, 72 ODIs, and 101 T20 Internationals in his international career. In Tests, he scored 688 runs and took 57 wickets. In ODIs, he scored 915 runs and took 79 wickets. In T20 Internationals, he scored 750 runs and took 101 wickets.
