Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2026: Maruti Suzuki has released the first teaser of its biggest facelift model. This new update will not only make the look of the car fresh, but can also take it ahead of other cars in terms of features and power. Along with this, the company has also opened booking for the customers. This popular SUV of the company is going to get its first major facelift update in 2026, which will make it look more modern and premium than before.

How much can it cost?
At present, the ex-showroom price of Maruti Brezza can be between Rs 8.26 lakh to Rs 13 lakh. There may be a slight increase in the price of the facelift model with new features and possible new engine options. According to reports, its starting price can be around Rs 8.5 lakh, while the top variant can go up to Rs 14 to 15 lakh (ex-showroom). The company may also continue with CNG variants.
Will there be any change in the design also?
The design of the new Brija has been made sharper, modern and attractive than before. The facelift is likely to get a new front grille, revised bumper, updated LED headlamps, new DRLs, 4-spoke alloy wheels and connected LED taillights at the rear. The company says that these changes can make the road presence of the SUV more attractive than before.
Work has also been done on the interior

Not only this, this time customers can also see a lot of changes in the cabin of the car. It is being said that the new Briza is expected to get a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, new dashboard layout, new seat upholstery, ventilated front seats and digital instrument cluster. However, cabin space and practicality are likely to remain the same. Like the current model, it can get a boot space of 328 liters.
Many major upgrades possible in features
This time Maruti is preparing to make the facelift model more feature-loaded than before.
It can be provided with features like 10 inch touchscreen, wireless charging, cruise control, electric sunroof, 360 degree camera, heads-up display, rear AC vents, powered driver seat and ambient lighting.
With these new features, Brizza can present a stronger claim in its segment.
There will be special focus on safety also

This time the company has paid special attention to the safety of customers. In terms of safety, the new car has six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD,
Features like Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist and ISOFIX child seat mount will continue to be available.
Apart from this, Level-2 ADAS, front parking sensor and other advanced safety technologies can also be added to the facelift model. Suzuki’s TECT platform will help further improve safety.
New option can also be found in engine options
The new Brizza is likely to retain the existing 1.5 liter K-series petrol engine, which generates around 103 PS of power and 137 Nm of torque. This engine gives a mileage of around 19-20 kmpl with mild hybrid technology. The CNG variant will also remain a part of the lineup, which is expected to deliver a mileage of around 25 km/kg.
The biggest change could be the possible 1.0 liter turbo-petrol engine, which could be borrowed from the Maruti Suzuki Swift. This engine will give power of about 100 PS and torque of 148 Nm. There is a possibility of getting both manual and automatic transmission options with it.
When can it be launched?
Maruti Suzuki Brizza facelift is expected to be launched around July 23, 2026. It is being said that after launch, it can give tough competition to compact SUVs like Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Tata Nexon.
