When will the new website launch?

About a month ago, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced at an event that the new IRCTC website would launch on July 15. However, sources within the Railways have now revealed that the website is not launching immediately; the updated IRCTC website will take more time to roll out. Reports suggest a further wait of three to four weeks.

No fixed date

The new and updated IRCTC website could launch in the first or second week of August. However, there is currently no concrete information or revealed date regarding this. Consequently, the public will have to wait a bit longer for the new website.

Why is there anticipation for the new website?

IRCTC's new website is coming with a host of new features and updates, generating significant public anticipation. Once launched, the website will simplify ticket booking and make the process faster than the current system. Moreover, the new website will be more user-friendly and designed to handle high traffic without crashing or hanging.

Additionally, the new website will feature multilingual support, improved seat selection options, a fare calendar, and enhanced accessibility for differently-abled individuals, patients, and students.
