The Indian women's cricket team honored England's Heather Knight and Tammy Beaumont with signed jerseys as they concluded their remarkable international careers following the historic one-off Women's Test at Lord's on Monday.

This emotional gesture occurred in front of the renowned Lord's honours board after India secured a dominant 270-run victory over England. A video of the presentation was shared by England Cricket on X, highlighting the heartfelt moment.

During the presentation, Indian batter Jemimah Rodrigues expressed her congratulations and best wishes for the future. She remarked, "Cricket is all about creating memories, and we want to leave you with a small token from your last match for England. Congratulations and best of luck in your future endeavors."

Heather Knight's Remarkable Journey

Knight retires as England Women's most-capped player, having participated in 320 international matches since her debut in 2010. She scored a total of 8,017 international runs, including six centuries, and made history as the first England player to achieve centuries in all three formats after her T20I hundred in 2020.

Her nine-year captaincy from 2016 to 2025 is noted as one of the most successful periods in the team's history, leading England in 199 matches with 134 victories, highlighted by the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup title at Lord's in 2017.

Tammy Beaumont's Legacy

Beaumont concluded her distinguished 17-year international career, retiring as England Women's leading ODI centurion with 12 centuries. She is one of only two English women to have scored international centuries in all formats.

In her Test career, she accumulated 614 runs, including a historic double century against Australia at Trent Bridge in 2023, becoming the first England woman to achieve this milestone. Beaumont also scored 4,738 runs in 140 ODIs and 1,975 runs in 109 T20Is, solidifying her status as one of England's top opening batters.

India's Historic Win

The emotional farewell followed India's historic victory, marking the first Women's Test win at Lord's by 270 runs. Yastika Bhatia made history as the first woman to score a Test century at this iconic venue, while debutant pacer Kranti Gaud took five wickets in England's first innings.

Smriti Mandhana contributed significantly with scores of 83 and 70, Deepti Sharma excelled with both bat and ball, and Richa Ghosh added an unbeaten half-century, setting England a challenging target of 457 runs. England was bowled out for 186 on the fourth day, with Deepti claiming four wickets, leading India to their seventh win in the last 11 Women's Tests.
