After wrapping up his stint as antagonist Bhanu in the television drama Shehzadi… Hai Tu Dil Ki, actor Ishu Tomar has taken a short break to travel before diving into his next project. For the actor, the vacation was less about sightseeing and more about finding the mental space to recharge after months of work.

“I travelled to Europe for a short break to clear my mind and recharge. The change of scenery helped me unwind, step away from my daily routine and experience something new. Exploring different cultures and places gave me space to reflect and reset mentally,” he says.

Currently holidaying on the French Riviera, Ishu plans to head to Spain before returning to India. “Every trip to Europe feels refreshing and eye-opening. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, immersing myself in different cultures, trying local food and even learning a few words of a new language. Every conversation and shared experience teaches you something.”

He believes travel is an important part of personal growth. “There is always a new story, tradition or idea waiting to be discovered. It reminds me that learning never really stops, and I enjoy embracing that feeling of constant discovery.”

With the break coming to an end, Ishu is already looking ahead to new opportunities. “Conversations are already underway, but I want to be sure that my next role is challenging, has meaningful screen time and pushes me as an actor. I’m not limiting myself to one medium. Whether it’s television, web or films, what matters to me is the quality of the story and the depth of the character. Good opportunities, wherever they come from, deserve my complete commitment.”

Ishu has earlier appeared in television shows such as Pukaar and Har Bahu Ki Yahi Kahani Sasumaa Ne Meri Kadar Na Jaani, besides South films Seemaraja and Darbar.
