Papad: An essential part of Indian food
Papads are an important part of Indian food, which are served with food everywhere, be it home or a dhaba or hotel. These are made from different types of pulses, in which asafoetida and black pepper are also used. Generally, papads are prepared from moong and urad dal.
Apart from this, papads are also made by mixing red chilli, spinach and fenugreek. These are crunchy and tasty, and should be consumed with meals.

1. Papad helps in strengthening your digestive system. Consuming papad immediately after meals improves the digestion process and the food gets easily digested.
