Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, on the question related to Narottam Mishra's election preparations and demand for ticket, said that demanding ticket is not an unusual thing. He said that many people express their desire to contest elections and ask for tickets. In Datia, Madhya Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party workers openly protested against the selection of candidates for the by-election. The party has not given ticket to former Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra. In his place, BJP has made Ashutosh Tiwari its candidate. Narottam Mishra did not get the ticket. BJP workers were beaten fiercely by the police.
