'People's Government, People's Door - Service, Good Governance and Dedication Fortnight', being run by the Uttarakhand government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has emerged as an effective medium to solve the problems of the people across the state. Through this campaign, the government is reaching out to the people directly and efforts are being made to extend the benefits of various government schemes to the last person. Campaign figures as of 9 July 2026 show that the initiative has received widespread public support.

Uttarakhand Jan Seva Camp: Participation of more than 64 thousand people in 73 camps

A total of 73 public service camps were organized in all the districts of the state between July 4 and July 9, 2026. More than 64 thousand 192 people participated in these camps. The presence of a large number of people indicates that this campaign is linked to the needs of the general public. Especially to the people of remote, rural and hilly areas, government services were made available closer to them.

Government Schemes: More than 22 thousand beneficiaries got direct benefits

During the public service camps, 21 thousand 908 people were given benefits on the spot under various public welfare schemes of the government. One stop facilities were provided to eligible beneficiaries of social security, pension, health, education and other government schemes. This saved people's time and made it easier for them to access government services.

Public Grievance: More than 5 thousand complaints received, most resolved on the spot

A total of 5 thousand 567 complaints and applications were received during the campaign. Out of these, 4 thousand 901 cases were disposed of in the camps themselves. The cases whose immediate resolution was not possible have been sent to the concerned departments and instructions have been given to take action within the stipulated time frame. The government's aim is that no citizen's complaint remains pending.

Certificate Services: Thousands of people applied for certificates

In public service camps, 2 thousand 522 applications were received for income, caste, residence, social category and other necessary certificates. It is clear that this initiative is proving to be very useful especially for the poor, needy and people living in remote areas.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami: Instructions to officials to go to the field and find solution

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given clear instructions to the officials that the public should not have to visit government offices. Instead, the officers themselves should be present in the camps and solve the problems. He has given instructions to ensure mandatory presence of decision-making officers in every camp and to settle most of the complaints at the primary level.

Service SuShasan Campaign: Increased trust between the public and the government

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that 'Service, Good Governance and Dedication Fortnight' is not just a government program but a campaign to make the governance system more accountable and people-centric.
