Tata SUV: Tata Motors has launched the new Stealth Edition of the popular SUVs Harrier and Safari in the Indian market. Both models come with a special Stealth Black theme. The special thing is that like last time, it is not a limited edition, but now it is a permanent member of Tata Motors’ 2026 model range. The starting ex-showroom price of Harrier Stealth Edition is Rs 23.43 lakh, while the starting price of Safari Stealth Edition has been kept at Rs 24.09 lakh. Petrol and diesel engine options will be available in both.

What’s new in the exterior?
The biggest attraction of the Harrier and Safari Stealth Edition is its new Stealth Black exterior finish, which gives the SUVs a more powerful and premium look than before.

These have 19-inch matte stealth black alloy wheels, which come with a different design from the company’s Dark and Red Dark Edition. Apart from this, ‘Stealth’ badging has been given on the front fender, which makes this special edition different.

The Harrier Stealth Edition is based on the Fearless Ultra trim and the Safari Stealth Edition on the Accomplished Ultra variant, so both the SUVs get top-end features.

Premium all-black interior
The cabin has been given a complete all-black theme, which gives a sporty and premium look to the SUVs. It has Carbon Noir leatherette seats, new dial for Terrain Response System and adjustable center armrest.

There are also three driving modes—Normal, Rough and Wet—available with ventilated and powered front seats for comfort, providing a better driving experience in different road conditions.

Long list of features
The Harrier and Safari Stealth Edition come with a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Apart from this, premium features like 13-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos, dual-zone automatic climate control and voice-assisted panoramic sunroof are also available.

Under connected car technology, advanced safety features like Alexa connectivity, Arcade App Suite, 360-degree camera and Level-2 ADAS have been included in it.

Engine and Transmission
Mechanically, there are no changes in the Harrier and Safari Stealth Edition. Both SUVs get the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol direct injection engine as before, which generates 170hp power and 280Nm torque.

Whereas the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine gives power of 170hp and torque of 350Nm. The option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission is available with both engines.

Through the new Stealth Edition, Tata Motors has tried to give Harrier and Safari a more premium and exclusive look than before. If you are looking for a black theme, strong road presence and a feature-loaded SUV, then this new edition can prove to be an attractive option for you.
