Chairman of the meeting of Nohar branch of Bharatiya Kisan Union Pratap Singh Saharan Held at Farmers Rest House, Nohar under the chairmanship of. In the meeting, deep concern was expressed over the increasing incidents of theft, drug addiction, illegally operated hotels and sale of illicit liquor in the area. The organization decided to launch a massive public awareness campaign against these social evils.
Awareness campaign will be run from village to village
Speakers in the meeting said that if the society does not become aware of these problems in time, then the future of the coming generations may be in trouble. With this objective, the workers of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh will go from village to village to make people aware about the ill effects of drugs and especially motivate the youth to stay away from drugs.
The organization decided that the anti-drug campaign would be made more widespread and social awareness would be increased through continuous meetings in rural areas.
Memorandum submitted to the Superintendent of Police
After the meeting, a memorandum was sent to the Superintendent of Police through Acting Police Station Officer Nohar demanding strengthening of law and order in the area and effective action against illegal activities.

Bharatiya Kisan Sangh put forward the following demands in the memorandum:
- The increasing incidents of drug abuse and theft in the area should be effectively stopped.
- The illegally operated hotels should be thoroughly investigated and the establishments involved in illegal activities should be closed.
- Policemen in plain clothes should be deployed around the banks, so that the gangs targeting farmers and common citizens can be curbed.
- Strict action should be taken by running a special campaign against liquor being sold illegally in the area.
