AAI Vacancy 2026: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) Regional Headquarters, North Eastern Region (NER), Guwahati, has released a notification for the recruitment of Graduate, Diploma, and ITI apprentices for the year 2026-27. Candidates selected through this recruitment process will undergo one year of training at various airports across the North Eastern Region. Interested and eligible candidates may apply in accordance with the prescribed procedure.

Eligibility Criteria
Graduate Apprentice: Candidates must possess a 4-year regular BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline from an AICTE-recognized institution.

Diploma Apprentice: Candidates must have completed a 3-year regular diploma in the relevant engineering field from an AICTE-recognized institution.

Trade (ITI) Apprentice: Candidates must hold an NCVT-recognized ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

Year of Passing: Only candidates who completed their degree, diploma, or ITI studies in 2024 or later are eligible to apply.
Candidates who passed prior to 2024 are not eligible for this recruitment.

Stipend Details
Candidates selected under the AAI NER Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will receive a monthly stipend during the training period. Graduate apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000, comprising ₹8,850 from AAI and ₹6,150 via the government's Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.

Meanwhile, Diploma apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,000, with ₹6,550 provided by AAI and ₹5,450 by the government. The monthly stipend for Trade (ITI) apprentices has been fixed at ₹9,600.
