Patna: The court has taken an important step in the ongoing case involving Khan Global Studies Director Faisal Khan alias Khan Sir in the famous coaching controversy of Bihar. The hearing on his anticipatory bail petition has been completed. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the court has reserved its decision. Now the decision in this case will be given on July 10.
What is the whole matter?
This case is to the dispute and alleged firing between two coaching institutes in Musallahpur Haat area of the capital Patna on the night of 2 June. The police started investigation after the video of the incident went viral on social media. On the basis of this, a case was registered against Khan sir, his two security personnel and others in Kadamkuan police station.
Hearing held in court
The hearing on the anticipatory bail petition of Khan sir and his three associates was held in the court of District Judge Rupesh Kumar Dev of Patna Civil Court on Wednesday. The court heard the arguments of both the parties in detail and after this reserved the order. Now the court will give its verdict on July 10.
Who have filed the bail petition?
In this case, along with Khan sir, his associates Ajit Kumar, Kanhaiya Kumar Singh and Ankit Kumar Pandey have also demanded anticipatory bail. At the same time, the regular bail petition of two security guards to the incident was also heard. Both the guards are currently lodged in Beur jail. The court will give its verdict on all these matters together.
What did the opposition say?
During the hearing, Khan sir’s bail was opposed by the complainant side. He said that the entire criminal background was allegedly not mentioned in the bail petition. After this, the court had given instructions to present the relevant information and fixed the date of July 8 for the next hearing.
Eye fixed on July 10
Now the court’s decision in this entire matter will come on July 10. Not only both sides are keeping an eye on this decision, but the education world and Khan sir’s supporters are also keeping a special eye on it. The court’s decision will decide the further legal direction of this much debated case.
