After resignation, Champat Rai broke his silence, said – I am silent now but will reveal the whole truth as soon as the final report of SIT comes.

Ram Mandir Trust: Former General Secretary of the Trust Champat Rai has given his reaction for the first time after his resignation in the case of alleged theft during counting of offerings in Ram temple of Ayodhya. He issued a letter to Ram devotees saying that false and unfair allegations are being made against them. He told that he has maintained silence for the time being, but when the right time comes, he will answer each allegation sequentially.

‘I will present the truth after the final report of SIT’

Champat Rai said in his letter that many discussions are being held regarding the alleged theft that took place during the counting of donation boxes of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex on June 6, 2026. The SIT formed to investigate this matter has submitted its preliminary report, which has now become public. He said that this report was confidential, but now after it becoming public, all the facts are being discussed. He assured that after the final report of the SIT comes, he will answer each and every allegation and will present the entire truth before everyone.

‘My life has been like an open book’

In his letter, Champat Rai also mentioned his long social and organizational life. He said that he was sent to Ayodhya by the organization in October 1991 and his missionary life for the last 45 years has been completely transparent. He said that wherever he worked, his life was like an open book and everyone knew his actions.

Appeal to Ram devotees to be patient

At the end of his letter, Champat Rai assured all Ram devotees that they should not reach any conclusion in haste. He said that after the completion of the investigation, he will make his views public with all the facts. He expressed confidence that the truth will be in front of everyone after the final report comes. He also respectfully bowed to all Ram devotees and well-wishers.
