Huma Qureshi's 'Baby Doo Die Doo' seems to be dying at the ticket window. The situation is such that even finding the budget for the film is finding it difficult.
Baby Do Die Do Box Office Collection: Huma Qureshi's action thriller film 'Baby Do Die Do' was released in theaters on July 3. The film clashed with YRF's big release 'Alpha' at the box office. Huma Qureshi is in the lead role in the film. The special thing is that this is also his first film as a producer, which he has made in collaboration with his brother Saqib Saleem. However, the film's opening at the box office was not as expected. Now its further earnings are believed to largely depend on the positive response of the audience i.e. positive word of mouth.
What was the earning of Baby Doo Die Doo on the fourth day?
According to Sacnilk, Huma Qureshi's film collected a net of Rs 41 lakh from 707 shows on the fourth day. At the same time, the gross collection of the film was Rs 46 lakh. The film collected Rs 40 lakh on the first day, Rs 58 lakh on the second day and Rs 83 lakh on the third day. In this way, the total net collection of the film in 4 days has reached Rs 2.22 crore. At present the film has not registered any earnings in the overseas market.
Finding the budget is also difficult.
According to media reports, the film, made on a budget of Rs 25 crore, earned only Rs 40 lakh on the first day with 778 shows. The film also suffered the loss of releasing with YRF's 'Alpha'. Due to its release before a bigger film, 'Baby Do Die Do' got fewer screens, the impact of which was clearly visible on its initial earnings.
Increase in earnings in the first weekend
Although the release was limited, the film performed better every day during the first weekend. Despite the decline in the number of shows on the third day, the film did a business of Rs 83 lakh (net), making it clear that there was an improvement in the film's earnings over the weekend.
The film recovered only 9% of the budget
After the first four days, the total India net collection of 'Baby Do Die Do' has reached Rs 2.22 crore. Accordingly, the film has so far been able to recover only 8.88 percent of its budget of Rs 25 crore. That means, to recover its production cost and reach the safe zone at the box office, the film will still have to earn more than Rs 23 crore.
Baby Do Die Do Day Wise Box Office Collection
Day 1: Rs 0.40 crore
Day 2: Rs 0.58 crore
Day 3: Rs 0.83 crore
Day 4: Rs 0.41 crore
