An important update has been released for candidates aspiring to become Home Guards in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the complete schedule for document verification and the physical test for the 2025 Home Guard recruitment. The physical test will be conducted from July 13, 2026, to August 6, 2026, with August 7 designated as a reserve day. Candidates selected for the next stage following the written examination must appear at the scheduled time with all necessary documents.

**Admit cards available for download from July 6**
Admit cards for the physical test and document verification will be available on the official website starting July 6, 2026. Candidates can log in using their registration or application number and date of birth. It is essential to keep a printed copy of the admit card, as entry to the examination center will not be permitted without it.

**Recruitment for 41,424 posts**
This recruitment process aims to fill a total of 41,424 vacant Home Guard positions in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who qualified in the written examination held in April 2026 must now undergo document verification and a Physical Standard Test. The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidates' performance across all stages of the selection process.

**Physical standards for male candidates**
The minimum height requirement for male candidates in the General, OBC, and SC categories is 168 cm, while for the ST category, it is 160 cm. For General, OBC, and SC candidates, the chest measurement must be 79 cm (unexpanded) and 84 cm (expanded). For the ST category, these measurements are set at 77 cm and 82 cm, respectively. Male candidates are required to complete a 4.8-kilometer run within a maximum of 28 minutes.

**Requirements for female candidates**
The minimum height requirement is 152 cm for female candidates in the General, OBC, and SC categories, and 147 cm for those in the ST category. All female candidates must meet a minimum weight requirement of 40 kg. Additionally, they must complete a 2.4-kilometer run within 16 minutes. Therefore, candidates should complete their physical preparation in good time to ensure success in the next stage of the recruitment process.
