Harry Kane sets unwanted World Cup milestone in match against Mexico

He is often the one celebrating goals, but on this occasion, Harry Kane found himself with his head in his hands.
The Bayern Munich forward scored from the penalty spot against Mexico on Sunday, putting the game at 3-1 in England’s favour. However, moments later, he conceded a penalty at the other end after accidentally kicking the leg of Brian Guiterriez inside the box. Mexico capitalised on the opportunity, narrowing the scoreline to 3-2.
This sequence of events saw Kane enter the record books for an unexpected reason — he became the first player on record to both score and concede a penalty in the same World Cup match.
It was certainly a moment the England captain will want to put behind him.
