Australia and England Women are all ready to face off in what could be a blockbuster Women's T20 World Cup 2026 final at Lord's today. Having finished the tournament undefeated, the two teams will lock horns for the championship in what could be one of the greatest games in women's cricket.
Even as fans are eagerly anticipating a fantastic contest, the conditions are also proving to be a talking point in London in the build-up to the final. Thankfully, the forecast predictions seem to be promising, with there not being much likelihood of rain disrupting the battle for the silverware.
Australia advanced to the final having beaten the West Indies in their semi-final, while England beat South Africa comfortably to progress. The finalists had both remained unbeaten throughout the course of the tournament; only one of them will be leaving as such.
Lord's Weather Forecast for the Final
Today in London, the prediction is for a warm and dry day, with temperatures hovering between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius during the match - the wind will be blowing from the west-northwest at around 13 km/h.

Australia Hold the Edge in World Cup History
Both have been dominant in this year's event, but Australia have actually had the better W20 history when up against England.
The two teams have played against each other in the tournament seven times. Australia has come out on top in five of those encounters, securing a win on the way to the 2012 and 2018 finals as well as in the 2016 semi-final. England has only managed to win two matches (the 2009 semi-final and the 2012 round 1 match), before losing in a super over in the 2010 match.
On paper, the final between the two strongest teams looks set to be a cracker, as history is on Australia's side and the home team, England, entertains at Lord's:
Unless the weather takes a sudden turn for the worse, rain shouldn't have a say in who wins the Women's T20 World Cup. Cricketers and spectators alike can expect a full day of cricket on the final day at Lord's.
