Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana) is like a lifeline for crores of farmers of the country. Under this government scheme to simplify farming expenses, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually to eligible farmers. This amount is sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each. Recently, on June 20, 2026, the government brought a smile on the faces of more than 9 crore farmers by releasing the 23rd installment, and now everyone is eagerly waiting for the next installment.
When will the 24th installment come?
If you too are waiting for your next installment, then it is important to know that the government has not yet announced any official date for the 24th installment. However, looking at the past record and payment pattern of the scheme, there is usually a gap of four months between each installment. Accordingly, after receiving the 23rd installment in June 2026, there is a strong possibility of the next i.e. 24th installment arriving in October 2026. Keep in mind, this is just an estimate; The exact date will be clear only after the official announcement by the government.
What to do to avoid installment stuck?
The benefit of PM Kisan Yojana is available only to those farmers who fulfill all the eligibility conditions. If your documents are incomplete or there is an error in the records, your installment may get stuck midway. Therefore, it is very important to keep your documents updated timely. To get the installment, it is mandatory for your name to be registered in the scheme.
