New Delhi: After the opening T20I of the five-match series was washed out, India will take on England in the second game at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester on Saturday, July 4. Following a shocking whitewash in the two-match T20I series against Ireland ahead of the England tour, the Men in Blue will be eager to return to winning ways under new captain Shreyas Iyer.

With Sanju Samson failing to deliver in his last three games, cricket fans are asking the same question for the fourth consecutive match: will 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi make his debut or will Indian team management continue with Abhishek Sharma and Samson?

The wicketkeeper batter has registered scores of 5,0 and 1 in the last three games against Ireland and England. His partner, Abhishek Sharma, has done well in two of the last three T20I matches, scoring 49, 0 and 59. Captain Iyer, who has also faced severe criticism for his leadership and batting, scored a brilliant fifty in the first T20I at Riverside Ground in Chester-Le-Street.

Based on the conditions at Old Trafford, the Men in Blue are likely to decide whether to go with an extra fast bowler in Prince Yadav or continue with Ravi Bishnoi, who was part of the playing XI in the opening game of the series.

England, meanwhile, have made two changes for the second T20I, with pacer Josh Tongue making his debut and Jofra Archer also being included in the playing XI, while Saqib Mahmood and Luke Wood have been dropped.
