BHEL Haridwar Trade Apprentice: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Haridwar, has invited applications for the recruitment of 187 Trade Apprentices. Who can apply?
The following qualifications are mandatory for candidates applying for the post:

Passed 10th standard (High School).
Passed ITI in the relevant trade from an NCVT-recognized institute.
For Welder and Electrician trades, ITI certification from either NCVT or SCVT is valid.
Minimum 60% marks in ITI for General, EWS, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. Minimum 55% marks for SC and ST candidates.
Who cannot apply?
Those who have already completed an apprenticeship.
Those with one year or more of work experience.
Those currently pursuing a regular course of study.
Candidates who have undergone apprenticeship as private candidates.

Age Limit
The minimum age is set at 18 years for all categories. The age limit is determined as of July 1, 2026, as follows:

How will the selection take place?
Candidates will be selected based on merit.

ITI marks will carry a 70% weightage.
High School (10th) marks will carry a 30% weightage.

In the event of a tie in marks, priority will be given to the candidate with higher marks in ITI. If the tie persists, the older candidate will be selected. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the training period in accordance with the Apprentices Act and relevant rules.

What documents are required to apply?
The following documents will be required at the time of application and for subsequent verification:

10th-grade mark sheet/certificate
ITI mark sheet
Aadhaar card
Caste or EWS certificate (if applicable)
PwD (Divyang) certificate (if applicable)
Uttarakhand domicile certificate (where applicable)
National Apprenticeship Portal registration proof
Employee dependent certificate (if applicable)

How to apply?
First, candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Portal. Subsequently, visit the BHEL Haridwar recruitment website to fill out the online application form, upload the necessary documents, and submit the application by July 15, 2026. After completing the online application, take a printout of the application receipt (Acknowledgement Slip) and submit it—along with self-attested copies of documents—to the Human Resources (Recruitment) Section at BHEL, Ranipur, Haridwar, either by post or in person, by July 27, 2026.
