Patna. On the occasion of the death anniversary (Martyrdom Day) of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and a prominent nationalist thinker, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary attended a tribute event held at the Atal Auditorium in the BJP state office. The Chief Minister commenced the program by lighting a lamp in honor of Dr. Mukherjee.
While addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary emphasized that Dr. Mukherjee's dedication to national interest, a united India, and cultural pride serves as an inspiration for all. He remarked that the nation will always remember his service and sacrifice. He noted that if there was any leader who united the country after Chanakya, it was Dr. Mukherjee, who realized the dream of an undivided India. The slogan that there cannot be two laws, two leaders, and two symbols in one nation was coined by Dr. Mukherjee, the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. He added that when democracy was under threat in the country, members of the Jana Sangh merged their party to save the nation, leading to the emergence of the BJP in 1980.
The Chief Minister stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has organized democracy effectively. In 2019, the people of India empowered Mr. Modi to abolish Article 370 in Kashmir. He reiterated that for them, the country comes first, followed by individuals and then the party. He highlighted that in 1984, the BJP had only 2 MPs, whereas in 2014, they elected 282 MPs.
Looking ahead, the Chief Minister announced that next year, on the same day, they will dedicate a grand new park in honor of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. He mentioned that under the leadership of the revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a coalition of about 27-28 parties was formed, and today, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, a government coalition of the same size exists. He acknowledged Mr. Modi as the longest-serving elected Prime Minister. The Chief Minister concluded by paying his respects to Dr. Mukherjee, stating that all of India stands with him today.

The Youth, Employment, and Skill Development Department is expected to work swiftly to achieve the target of providing employment to 500,000 individuals and skill training to 5 million youth.
