​PM Modi’s development cooperation message on West Bengal Day!

On the occasion of West Bengal Foundation Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the people of Bengal. On this occasion, he said that the Central Government will work with the West Bengal Government to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the people. Along with this, PM Modi prayed for the progress of West Bengal and prosperity of its people.

He further wrote, “Today, June 20, is very important in the history of West Bengal. This was the day which ensured that West Bengal remained an integral part of India. Syama Prasad Mukherjee’s role in this was invaluable. This year (in 2026) we are also celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Mukherjee. The Central Government will work with the Government of West Bengal to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the people. I am committed to the progress of West Bengal and the prosperity of its people. I pray for him.”

Wishing all the people of the state on West Bengal Day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote, “From rich culture and spirituality to knowledge and science, Bengal, the land of Bhakti movement, freedom struggle and renaissance, has contributed immensely in nation building. This land of personalities like Swami Vivekananda, Bankimchandra Chatterjee, Rabindranath Tagore, Subhash Chandra Bose and Syama Prasad Mukherjee will preserve its heritage and glory under the leadership of Modi ji. I wish for the welfare and prosperity of all the people of the state.

On West Bengal Day, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari also congratulated and congratulated the people of the state. He said that June 20 is an important day in the history of West Bengal, which decided the fate of the Bengali people.

However, truth cannot be suppressed forever. By correcting that historical mistake, our government has today given back its rightful respect to the true history of Bengal.”

The Chief Minister said that the Bengali people will always be indebted to Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. On this special day, we pay our deepest tribute to this great statesman. Without his visionary leadership the state of West Bengal would not have existed on the map of India today.
