Home Advantage for World Cup Hosts: Mexico Colours Dominate Even England’s Stands

Even before the match kicks off tonight at 2 a.m. German time, it is already apparent that the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City will be overwhelmingly in favour of the World Cup hosts, Mexico.
A striking image from the venue reveals that around 80,000 Mexican flags have been placed throughout the enormous arena. Reports suggest that these flags have even been distributed on seats allocated for England’s supporters.
All signs point to this encounter feeling like a home fixture for Mexico. The question now is whether England can spoil the celebration in what promises to be a highly charged, cauldron-like atmosphere. The answer will become clear later tonight.
