South Korea’s Incheon International Airport, voted the world’s second-best after Changi in the 2026 Skytrax awards, climbed up two places to fourth in a June ranking of aviation hubs for international passenger traffic by British firm OAG.
With 3.52 million seats, increasing by 2% compared with the same period of last year, the airport ranked behind London Heathrow Airport, Dubai International Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Changi ranked fifth in the list with capacity down 1% year-on-year.
The rest of the top 10 were Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in France, Frankfurt International Airport in Germany, Istanbul Airport in Turkey, Hong Kong International Airport and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport in Spain.

The Top 10 Busiest Global Airports in the world are calculated using total airline capacity, both domestic and international flights.
Incheon International Airport recorded a sharp increase in international arrivals in June, fueled by an influx of overseas visitors traveling to South Korea for a major BTS concert.
The two-day event attracted thousands of fans from around the world, prompting airport authorities to deploy additional staff and increase operational support last week to manage the surge in passenger traffic.
