BPSSC Bihar Police SI Mains Result: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the results for the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Main Examination 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the Commission's official website. The result has been published as a merit list containing the roll numbers of the successful candidates.

The Main Examination for the recruitment of 1,015 Police Sub-Inspectors in the Home Department of the Bihar Government was conducted on May 27, 2026.

A total of 35,857 candidates, who had cleared the preliminary examination, appeared for this exam. Out of these, 10,759 candidates have been selected for the next stage—the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates can check their selection status in the merit list using their roll numbers.

**Mandatory Participation in PET and Document Verification**
Candidates declared successful in the Main written examination are required to appear for the next stage, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The rules and conditions governing the PET will be in accordance with recruitment advertisement number 05/2025. The Commission will soon issue a separate notification regarding the PET date and admit cards.

The Commission has clarified that it is mandatory for all selected candidates to appear on the scheduled date for the PET. Candidates who qualify in the PET will also have to undergo document verification. If a candidate fails to appear on the scheduled date, they will be deemed disqualified and will not be given another opportunity. Requests to postpone the examination or verification dates will not be entertained under any circumstances.

**Documents Required for PET**
Admit card and a copy of the online application acknowledgment.
Valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Driving License.
Original Matriculation (10th standard) certificate as proof of date of birth.
Academic certificate of passing the graduation or equivalent examination.
Caste certificate for reserved category candidates and, if applicable, a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate. Certificate of permanent residence in Bihar state and other reservation-related certificates (if applicable).
Ex-servicemen, candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), government employees, and transgender candidates must also bring their respective certificates.

Important advice from the Commission
The Commission has advised candidates to adhere to all rules and instructions at every stage of the recruitment process. If a candidate fails to appear on the scheduled date or if their documents are found to be incomplete, they may be excluded from the recruitment process. Additionally, the Commission has advised candidates to beware of touts and individuals promising jobs through fraudulent means. Any information regarding suspicious persons or activities should be reported to the police immediately.
