Vivo Y6e 5G LaunchSmartphone manufacturer Vivo has officially launched the new handset Vivo Y6e 5G in China, expanding its budget smartphone lineup. This new smartphone has been launched in the market with three attractive color options and a very strong battery capacity of 6,500mAh. Currently it has been made available for sale on China’s official online store.

Snapdragon processor and strong battery are the main USP
This latest smartphone to enter the tech market has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset for performance, which is capable of handling everyday tasks and multitasking smoothly. To power the smartphone, a huge 6,500mAh battery has been included in it. To recharge this big battery, the company has provided the support of 15W wired fast charging to the customers.
Talking about display and design, this handset has a 6.74 inch HD + LCD touchscreen display, which comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. For better protection, the device has received IP65 rating, which keeps it safe from dust and water splashes. The thickness of the phone is only 8.39mm and its total weight is 209 grams, in which polycarbonate (plastic) frame has been used.

The company has currently introduced this handset in only one storage configuration. The price of its only variant in the Chinese market has been fixed at CNY 1,599, which is approximately Rs 22,300 in Indian currency.

What does this mean for Indian users?
If we look at the Indian smartphone market, Vivo’s Y series is quite popular in the budget and mid-range segment of the country. However, Vivo has not yet announced any official date to launch this model in the Indian market. If it comes to India, its large battery will attract a lot of users who want to be free from the hassle of charging the phone again and again.
