DRDO JRF Recruitment 2026: The Defence Research and Development Organisation's (DRDO) Young Scientist Laboratory-Quantum Technologies (DYSL-QT) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellows (JRF). This laboratory conducts research in cutting-edge fields such as quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum sensing. Through this recruitment, eligible candidates will have the opportunity to work on advanced equipment and systems related to quantum technology.

**Who Can Apply?:

Educational Qualification and Age Limit**

Candidates may apply based on any one of the following qualifications:

**B.E./B.Tech Holders**

*   Degree in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Electronics & Telecommunication (ETE), Electronics & Instrumentation (EIE), Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics (EEE), or Electrical Engineering (EE).
*   First-class marks are mandatory.
*   Must have studied subjects such as VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, or Digital Signal Processing.
* A valid NET or GATE score is mandatory.

**M.E./M.Tech Holders**

*   Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the aforementioned relevant engineering disciplines.
*   First-class marks at both Bachelor's and Master's levels.
*   Specialization in VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, or Digital Signal Processing.

**Age Limit**

*   Maximum age of 28 years as of the last date of application receipt.
*   Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) categories will receive age relaxation as per Government of India rules.

**Desirable Skills**

Candidates possessing knowledge of the following technologies may receive an added advantage:

*   VERILOG/VHDL
*   FPGA
*   Vivado
*   Vitis IDE

**Selection Process**

Candidates will be selected based on an interview. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview date, time, venue, and mode via post and email.

DRDO will prepare a panel of selected candidates, valid for one year from the date the results are declared. Current and future vacancies may be filled based on this panel.

Important Conditions
Candidates employed in government departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), or autonomous institutions must apply through the proper channel.
Submission of a "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) at the time of the interview is mandatory.
Candidates who have previously been awarded a JRF at any DRDO laboratory or center are not eligible to apply.
This fellowship is purely temporary and does not confer any right to permanent employment with DRDO.
