Women's T20 World Cup: Australia maintain unbeaten run, beat Bangladesh
17 Jun 2026
Australia continued their unbeaten run in the ongoing ICC Women's T20 World Cup, defeating Bangladesh by nine wickets at Headingley, Leeds.
The victory was largely due to a stellar bowling performance from Kim Garth (2-18), Sophie Molineux (2-14), and Ellyse Perry (2-14). They restricted Bangladesh to a mere 77 runs.
Georgia Voll then led the charge with an unbeaten 45 off just 32 balls, helping Australia chase down the target in just 9.3 overs.
