Amidst the ongoing protest at the Martyr Memorial, an incident of slapping of Abhijeet Deepke by an unknown person came to light, after which chaos spread at the spot.

After the incident, the atmosphere at the protest site became tense for some time. The police immediately intervened and controlled the situation and took two suspicious youths into custody. Police are currently investigating the entire matter and further action is underway.
