Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has said that the law and order situation in Punjab is so strict that most of the gangsters have either fled abroad or left the crime world and joined the mainstream. He claimed that all the gangsters left in Punjab are from before 2022, when there was no Aam Aadmi Party government in the state.
Arvind Kejriwal claimed that political parties in Punjab had created gangsters and crimes increased at their behest. Aam Aadmi Party took strict action against these miscreants, due to which they left Punjab. He claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party has links with these gangsters.
‘Gangsters of Punjab are the product of old parties’
Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘There is not a single gangster who has flourished in the Aam Aadmi Party government. All this is the creation of these parties. All the gangsters have to be eliminated one by one. Most of the gangsters have either fled or been eliminated.
‘Punjabi gangsters are being deported from abroad’
Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘It has never happened in the history of Punjab that people sitting abroad were brought from abroad. Gangsters were brought from 7 countries. There is one gangster left. He is Lawrence Bishnoi.
‘Lawrence Bishnoi is the gift of ED party’
Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘He is spreading crime all over the world. Punjab Police cannot bring him. Punjab Police can investigate him in Sabarmati jail only. Whatever gangster rule is left in Punjab is the contribution of the ED party.
