Mohit Dubey– The issue of objectionable remarks made on social media against Aditi Yadav, elder daughter of Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, is now gaining momentum. There is huge anger among the Samajwadi Party leaders and MLAs of Kanpur regarding this incident. During a joint press conference in Kanpur, SP MLAs strongly condemned this act. Meanwhile, SP MLA from Cantt assembly constituency of Kanpur Mohammad Hasan Rumi made a big and surprising announcement and said that he will give a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh 11 thousand to whoever catches the main accused of this heinous act and brings him forward by tying his hands and feet.

Dragging family into political fight cannot be tolerated: Amitabh Bajpayee

SP MLA from Aryanagar, Kanpur, Amitabh Bajpai and MLA Hasan Rumi fiercely targeted the ruling party and anarchist elements in this joint press conference. The MLAs bluntly said that there can be ideological differences in politics and political battles are fought on the field, but dragging one’s family and daughters-in-law into this dirty politics is extremely shameful and unbearable. He said that the Samajwadi Party is looking at this entire matter with utmost seriousness and the party will not remain silent until the accused are punished for their actions. The leaders said that they will get to the bottom of this conspiracy so that no one can do such a thing in future.

Case registered against three named accused in cyber police station

SP seems to be completely complacent even regarding legal action in this matter. Advocate Praveen Yadav, National Secretary of Samajwadi Party Advocate Sabha, had submitted the written complaint of this matter to the Police Commissioner. On the basis of the complaint, the police, showing promptness, have registered a case under serious sections against the three named accused in the cyber crime police station of Kanpur. The names of the accused against whom the police has registered the FIR are said to be Nagesh Singh Baghel, Vinod Kumar Yadav and Bharat Kumar Patel. SP leaders say that a well-planned conspiracy is visible behind such indecent and defamatory posts on social media.

Trust in law, but questions raised on the intentions of BJP government

During the press conference, both the SP MLAs made it clear that they have full faith in the law and order and police administration of the country, but the way the families of opposition leaders are being targeted under the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh is worrying. He alleged that the government is encouraging such unruly elements, due to which the courage of those who play with the honor of sisters and daughters on social media is high. Hasan Rumi said that the law is doing its job, but at the society level also it has become very important to teach a lesson to such anti-social elements.
